What kind of tarot do you practice?

The foundational essence of my tarot practice is guided by the soul-forward teachings of Lindsay Mack of Tarot for the Wild Soul. My readings are focused on the present moment and are grounded in what serves the highest and best of my querent.

What kind of tarot don’t you practice?

I don’t do future-based readings, as the future isn’t fixed. I also don’t do readings about other people. These readings are meant to illuminate your truth and power. 

How do I book a tarot reading session with you?

Tarot reading sessions can be initiated through the Offerings page on my website. Schedule our session directly through the Book Now option.

What can I expect from a tarot reading session?

Most readings are offered as PDF readings or as live virtual sessions. All readings are given equal care and detail. You will be seen and held, no matter the format. For PDF readings, an exploration of the cards pulled and how they relate to your individual situation will be provided, along with a picture of your tarot spread. We will communicate intentions for your reading via email. Live sessions will start with a few minutes of grounding into intentions for the session. I’ll pull the tarot spread for you and we will spend time together talking about what messages have come through for you. Shortly after your live virtual session, I will email you a picture of your spread. Don’t be nervous! These readings serve only your highest and best and are provided in a safe and confidential space.

Do you do in-person readings?

At this time I don’t do in-person readings. 

Do you do group readings? 

Given the personal and vulnerable nature of tarot readings, I only operate 1:1 sessions between myself and the querent.  

Can I gift a reading from you to someone else?

Absolutely! A tarot reading can be a great gift and I’m happy to provide this as an option. Let me know this is intended as a gift reading during our booking communications and we’ll proceed accordingly. 

Do you provide readings for children and teens?

Yes. Tarot can be a powerful tool for self-awareness and self-reflection that children and teens can both benefit from. Depending on the age of the client, permission from both parents or legal guardians is required. A parent or legal guardian is required to be present for the reading as well. Readings are a safe space for the querents, parents or legal guardians must respect the parameters of engagement in these readings. These will be discussed in further detail during the booking process. 

What is your rescheduling policy?

24 hour notice is required for a virtual live session to be rescheduled. A reading may be rescheduled up to 3 times before the reading is delivered as a PDF reading. 

What is your refund policy?

Payment is required prior to a reading. At this time, I don’t offer refunds. Each reading is provided in utmost service to your highest and best. The message of the tarot may not resonate in the moment, but it is the message you’re meant to hear. I practice with integrity and honesty and stand by my readings. 

Why do you do donation based readings and what are your supported charities?

Leyomie Tarot and Soul believes in empathy forward service. Giving back needs to be embedded in my work, and donation based readings are a way to provide this. I’m a Creative and a Black intersectional feminist. Writing is my bliss and I believe in supporting the progress of women and girls in action that stokes the fires. Leyomie Tarot and Soul’s supported charities are, in no particular order: National Women’s Law Center, Girls Write Now, Black Girls Code, and GrubStreet. 

How do donation based readings work?

For any donation of $20 or more to any of the supported charities listed above. I will provide a 3-card Mind|Body|Soul PDF reading. This reading is not available for personalization. I will pull one card for the present state of your mind, one card for the present state of your body, and another for the present state of your soul. The $20+ donation must be made to one charity, i.e., not $10 to one, and $10 to another one. Before redemption of your donation based reading, a screenshot of your donation confirmation will be requested upon receipt of your reading request. The date and the donation amount should be clearly visible.
